Tip! Since hybrid cars operate and run on electricity, hybrid cars easily function consistently well at any motor speed in comparison to gas-powered engines. As gas-powered engines generate much less power in decreased low revolutions per minute, motor and engine speed is affected considerably.
Japanese Automakers with North American Head Quarters are moving the ball forward and pressing on into the future with new technologies for safety, fuel economy and net-centric systems. Before retiring from the auto aftermarket franchise industry, I took a tour around the nation to see what I had built and visit all our franchisees. Tip! Using a car that can run on electricity will definitely have environmental advantages. Environmentalists and ecological activists are thrilled by the idea and by the ability of hybrid cars to emit substantially lesser smog pollutants and other hazardous gasses that are harmful to the environment and to people’s health.
From the first moment you step into a hybrid car, you will notice that a multitude of things are vastly different than your conventional vehicle. Turn the ignition key, and you will notice just how quiet these things are. For example, if you happen to be sitting in a Toyata Prius the car’s electric generator will quietly fire up the conventional internal combustion engine, or “ICE”. As the ICE comes up to operating temperature it will automatically be shut off, which brings the car’s electric motor completely online. The gasoline engine will remain in a dormant state until it is further needed.

Characteristic to most hype, the stats they give about hybrid cars are unrealistic and overstated at best. And that’s the most inconvenient truth concerning hybrid cars.
Purchasers of the hybrid you can classify on two groups: those that ride on the coattails of the social statement of the moment and those that want to save on fuel, while doing the environment some good thrown along the bargain. But frankly, the best you can do to save fuel and the environment is - by not buying at all.
